I've already talked about the Tara river which is the natural border between Bosnia and Montenegro, now I'll introduce you Tara's twin sister: Piva. No need for a description here, all you need is some pictures. enjoy

Fishing In Bosnia

Ok guys, after showing you some of the bosnia's landscapes I'll talk a little bit about fishing.
Bosnia is full of beautiful crustal clean rivers with a lot of trouts. If you are a  fishing addict you have to come in Bosnia and experience what will probably be the fishing of our life.

Ok guys, I'm back from France and as I promised you in my last post, I'll show you some pictures from a small country in central Europe: Bosnia. Yes Bosnia, you know the country you use to watch on news, the one full of war criminals and AK47s. But that was 15 years ago, now Bosnia is a peaceful country that you may want to visit.

hiking in montenegro

Montenegro is potentially a great country for hiking, but up to now it has been frustratingly difficult to get hold of relevant, up to date information in English. So I was very pleased to hear that Cicerone have just published a guide to The Mountains of Montenegro.

The guidebook includes single-day hikes and multi-day treks. Not surprisingly Durmitor National Park features strongly, but the guide also covers ranges that are less well known to foreign visitors, such as Orjen and Prokletije.

Let's talk about Rafting: The Tara River

Montenegro has its own Colorado- European counterpart to the American Canyon . What our tourists look for around the world for thousands of dollars, foreigners have found it here, in the canyon of the Tara which is wild and sleepy at the same time. The canyon is the most picturesque, the deepest and the steepest one in Europe . The most attractive part of the canyon is 85 km long, and 1330 metres deep. The last 15 km of the river, before the Tara and the Piva become the Drina , is the most exciting section with over 20 rapids, where water “goes crazy” and the blood goes faster in the veins, and with emerald river “pools” and waterfalls of wild brooks.
